Dart Point

A dart is made up of legs and a point.  The point is the apex of the dart. The Dart Point is directed towards fullness in the body; e.g. bust, hips, bottom etc.

Examples

Image 1:  The purple arrows point to the Dart Points on on the Bodice Front 2-Dart Block. The Dart Points are aimed towards the Bust Point, but stop short of it.

Image 2: The front of this dress has six darts and therefore six dart points. In the bodice, the four darts are pointing towards the bust, and in the skirt, the two darts are pointing to the hips.
